Silicone Mat - Floral Fern
The Floral Fern Cake Lace Mat features a beautiful period lace design inspired by the ‘Wedding Gowns Through the Ages’ feature at Alexandra Palace.
The 3D design consist of a selection of flowers, ferns and leaves coming together to make a corded lace pattern on a mesh background. Whilst it is a vintage design, the Floral Fern mat is also great for more modern cakes and especially good for wedding cakes.
The mat can be used in its entirety for covering tiers and large areas of cake or the individual elements can be cut out and added to small treats such as cupcakes and cookies.
To use the mat, simply spread on a thin layer of cake lace, bake for the allotted time and gently peel away from the mat, leaving you with a gorgeous layer of lace.
